Our route

Laos starts with a few days in Vientiane before heading all the way south to Si Phan Don. The 4000 islands region is stunning and offers superb views of the Mekong. We slowly head back north and stop over in Savannakeh and Pakse. Picking up our chinese visa in Vientiane we continue south to Vang Vieng, a backpackers mekka. In the east of Laos we visit the old caves and become familiar with Laos’s history and its secret war. We end up in Luang Prabang, a beautiful ,ex-capital and UNESCO world heritage site, before crossing the border into its northern neighbour: China.
