10 pence per kilometer?!

What can 10 pence buy you these days? A bag for life (big commitment), a chomp bar? You’re not even half way to securing entry to the toilets in a train station. But…what if you could buy the equivalent of two people covering a kilometre of Australian desert, Cambodian dirt road, Turkmenistani mountain or Chinese highway, interested?

If the sheer weirdness of this proposition wasn’t enough to have you forking over literally pennies of your hard-earned coin, here’s the deal clincher– it’s all for an amazing cause!!!  DONATE NOW

It’s quite simple, we are travelling around 30,000 km back to Germany from Australia, if we raise 10 pence for every km we raise £3,000 for our partner organisation, just one.

Travel4more particularly aligns itself with just one’s approach to the tourist – street child relationship, a dichotomy which plays itself out daily in every developing holiday destination in the world.  At its most simple level when tourists give money to street children they perpetuate an existence based on begging which is totally unsustainable and massively damaging. We discuss this in more detail here.

“just one” in their own words…

‘just one strives to actively promote and facilitate educational opportunities for disadvantaged and marginalized children in Nepal by working at a grass-roots level with the children, their families and their communities to implement a range of carefully developed, culturally sensitive, sustainable initiatives’

Travel4more has no intention to use any of the funds raised for travelling expenses, we fund that ourselves. ALL 100% of the donation go directly to just one and are controlled as direct donations to them. You can DONATE DIRECTLY , now!!!

As always we are here to talk if you have any concerns, comments or suggestions. Hit us up on the blog or e-mail info@travel4more.org

Thank you very much!
